So, I'm failing english still, just got the latest paper back, the one i thought was at least in the slightest way decent. anyway, she's the kind of teacher (keep in mind that is IS and honors class) that expects you to have all the basics of Thesis Essay writing down cold. Now i have had a pretty sweet deal for my first two english classes:

Freshman Year: Mr. Marthaler English 01 Reg... I got a 100% in his class all four semesters.
Sophmore Year: Mr. Tierney English 02 Honors... I made it decently through while at the same time doing as little as possible and him just sort of estimating my grade by merely looking at my papers.

and now to junior year, i have not gotten anything but a D or lower on any given paper. you'd think that if this just happens to be the average grade for papers, the teacher would re-think the way she teaches... shit no. She's just going to continue to lecture us about how we have to proof read are own papers and its not her job. Then, pray tell, what is your job ms. Winokur? Cuz i'd like to fuckin' know.
