I have come to grips with my own "Unpopularity". In a way it's freeing.. but in another, it's depressing. Last night I went to this party at some kid's house with Paul and Bob, i guess that Bob was my "in" to this party, as long as i stayed by him i'd be ok. but he ran off and started talking to people he knew so me and tony raymond were kind of on our own. I took a look around to find that a shit load of people who were in other classes (or previous classes) of mine were sitting here and there.... a few guys who i am pretty cool said hi and shook hands, but the females is what really kinda pisses me off, its like they are too good for me.... it makes me sad.

In other news. i was turned down for a date to prom because the girl didn't have enough money for a dress... oh well, i'll buy that, she's a junior like me.... next year's the important one.... i'll be mad if it ends up that she's going though... i hate women...

on top of being shunned by girls that are all of a sudden too good to at LEAST say hi.. one that is always social-able towards me was not, so that kinda hurt....whatever.. tonight didn't help my mood either..

i got to sit around (Until It Sleeps - Metallica [perfect] ) and play guitar with devin while he sat their and might as well have been dry humping all(i/y), his girlfriend....

what a depressing post...

I got my braces off, so now I get to walk around school grinning like Tom Cruise; I walk around school grinning like an idiot. The only problem that I’m having is the fucking retainer. So of course, I talk like a retard. And of course, the damn polish immigrants in my chemistry class seem to find this hilarious. I’m ready to beat the hell out of them just so I can say, “Yeah! You guys just got your shit ruined!!” Ha, that would rock. Anyway, so yeah, the consensus on the retainer is that it sucks the big one. Why get braces taken off your teeth just to put something more aggravating back on them? I've decided not to wear the top one ever.

I tried to download the new Thrice CD, entitled The Artist In The Ambulance. I am convinced that it is going to rock my ass off. Mainly because it seems that God is stopping me from obtaining downloaded MP3’s of the songs on the album. I went through a Kazaa search list looking for new song titles, since I know every Thrice song to date, and found a whole bunch. With song names like Blood Clots and Black Holes, Paper Tigers, All That’s Left, The Melting Point of Wax, The Abolition of Man, and Hoods on Peregrine, how could you go wrong? Anyway, I went through and downloaded all of the previously mentioned, and some others. And wouldn’t you know it, every single MP3 I downloaded ended up being a copy of the same sample track that Thrice released three weeks ago. I was so pissed, only you could imagine. And come to think of it, I can imagine me relating to my brother this story to you in hopes of maybe he'd try to comfort me in my time of peril, but chris would just laugh, then I’d realize that it was a stupid thing to be pissed about.

In another attempt to get a hold of an unreleased album, I tried to get Hail to the Thief, the new Radiohead release. Once again I was battered with new song titles until I fished through the ones that weren’t just B-Sides, but actually the songs on the album to find that they were all really fucking crappy recordings, and un-mastered at that! I was sickened. So after two failed attempts… I am giving up on my unreleased album hunts and leaving it to the real nerds. But let me tell you, from what I heard of the Thrice sample, it is going to kick everyone’s ass.

Oh and by the way, I was given the opportunity to see Matrix: Reloaded tonight, with Tony Raymond, but I have passed that up, so that I may enjoy seeing it for the first time with Chris, so now I also have something to look forward to.

In other news, the recording with Rick went really well, and I don’t think the album will be finished anytime soon, but we’ll see.

anyway.. im drumming on the upcoming rick bach album and its turning out rather well.... it will soon be mastered and such.. and i can finally hear how it sounds as a finished product...
i will then procede to play with such allstars as Rick Bach, Devin Swearingin, Steve Wierich (I HOPE) and Paul "Take em' to the Mall" Kowalski at the Rick Bach Freedom Fiesta. We will be covering all the hits.. all of the night.... i don't know when it is.. so ask me later... bye....
